About Me
Tamara is a practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Through her experience as a practitioner she has come to understand and appreciate the beneficial role of Chinese medicine in helping with mental, emotional and physical illnesses. She is passionate about supporting patients with their healing and finding ways to maintain good health.
Working with her clients, Tamara has found that herbs with their cleansing, sustaining and nourishing qualities have a helpful effect alongside acupuncture. She may suggest taking Chinese or western herbs to support the treatments. Her patients continue to inspire her with her professional development. She continues her studies in woman's health and fertility, mental health, and muscular-skeletal conditions.
She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Tamara is the author of three books on Herbal Medicine; her most recent is Herbs for the Soul: Emotional Healing with Chinese and Western Herbs.
